Knight Nunatak

Knight Nunatak (

69°23′S 158°52′E / 69.383°S 158.867°E / -69.383; 158.867Coordinates: 69°23′S 158°52′E / 69.383°S 158.867°E / -69.383; 158.867) is a lone coastal nunatak 4 nautical miles (7 km) south-southeast of Cape Kinsey and 3 nautical miles (6 km) northeast of Mount Conrad in the Goodman Hills of Antarctica. It was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and air photos, 1960–63, and was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for , U.S. Navy, an Operations Division Yeoman responsible for handling office routine in Washington, D.C., Christchurch, and McMurdo Station during Operation Deep Freeze 1967–70.[1]
