Kocury [kɔˈt͡surɨ] (German: Kotzuren) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dobrodzień, within Olesno County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of Dobrodzień, 11 km (7 mi) south of Olesno, and 37 km (23 mi) east of the regional capital Opole.

The village has a population of 140.

Geology[]

Late Triassic (Norian)-aged rocks forming part of the Lissauer Breccia outcrop near the village of Kocury.[2]
