Kootu Puzhukkal (transl. Group of worms) is a 1987 Indian Tamil-language film directed by R. C. Sakthi and produced by M. Sundar Rajan and G. M. Ranga Raj, starring Raghuvaran and Amala , supported by Chandrasekhar and Y. Vijaya.

Plot[]

Kootu Puzhukkal is a love story of an honest man, Raghuvaran and his love Amala. The climax reveals whether Raghuvaran succeeds in his love. It has many sub plots where all the characters live in a house with many portions in close proximity. It talks about many social issues like dowry, caste-ism, classism, sexual desires, poverty, prostitution etc. [1]
