Kooyman Peak

Kooyman Peak (

82°43′S 162°49′E / 82.717°S 162.817°E / -82.717; 162.817Coordinates: 82°43′S 162°49′E / 82.717°S 162.817°E / -82.717; 162.817) is a peak rising to 1,630 metres (5,350 ft), on the ridge just south of Dorrer Glacier in the Queen Elizabeth Range, Antarctica. It was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from tellurometer surveys and Navy air photos, 1960–62, and was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for , a United States Antarctic Research Program biologist at McMurdo Station in the 1961–62, 1963–64 and 1964–65 seasons.[1]
