Krefftberget

Krefftberget is named after Gerard Krefft

Krefftberget is a mountain group at Barentsøya, Svalbard. It is named after Australian zoologist Gerard Krefft, and is situated at the southern part of the island.[1]

The hill of is located southeast in Krefftberget,[2] and further south is the slope of , which is a nesting site for numerous birds.[3] East of Krefftberget is the valley of and the river of ,[4][5] and to the northeast is the mountain of .[6] The coastal plain of extends from Krefftberget to the spit of .[7]
