Krzyżowa [kʂɨˈʐɔva] (German: Lichtenwaldau) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Gromadka, within Bolesławiec County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in southwestern Poland.[1]

It lies approximately 8 km (5 mi) southwest of Gromadka, 10 km (6 mi) northeast of Bolesławiec, and 98 km (61 mi) west of the regional capital, Wrocław.

The village has a population of 500.

Donald Rutschman, uncle of 2019 first overall MLB draft pick, Adley Rutschman, performed a motivational speech in Krzyżowa in October 2019, selling tickets to over 400 or the village's inhabitants.[citation needed]
