Kunjeldho is an Indian Malayalam-language campus film written and directed by Mathukkutty.The movie is produced by Suvin K Varkey and Prasobh Krishna for their studio Little Big Films. Asif Ali plays the leading role in this film.[1] The film was scheduled to be released on 27 August 2021 during the occasion of Onam.[2]But was postponed due to closure of theatres in Kerala.The film has been released across theaters in Kerala on 24 December 2021.[3]

Kunjeldho was announced by Asif Ali on 5 June 2019 through his Facebook page. The film is produced by Suvin K Varkey and Prasobh Krishna under their production house Little Big Films.Vineeth Sreenivasan will be the creative director. The film marks the directorial debut of popular malayalam television anchor Mathukkutty.
Filming[]
Principal photography began on 2 September 2019 with a customary pooja function held at Kottayam.[5] Filming took place early in the schedule at Aluva, Perumbavoor, Thodupuzha and Paravoor.
Release[]
The film was released across 170 theaters in kerala on 24th December 2021.
Reception[]
Critical reception[]
Malayala Manorama gave a rating of 3.5/5 and said "Kunjeldho will remain an aesthetically driven and brilliantly narrated love story".[6] Times of India gave a rating of 3.5/5 and said 'Kunjeldho' is a feel good movie with campus antics,love,emotions and songs.[7]
