LETA Capital is a technology-focused venture capital firm with investments covering a wide range of B2B software startups focused on international markets.[citation needed]

History[]

The firm was founded in 2012 by , a serial Russian IT entrepreneur and co-founder of LETA Group, which grew from its original three founders to 500 employees and $100 million in annual revenue.[1] So far LETA Capital has made more than 30 investments, including inDriver, Bright Box, DevAR, Unomy, RedHelper, Unigine Corp, Novakid. The firm focuses on companies based in Russia, Eastern Europe, and Israel. It prefers to invest between $0.4 million and $5 million in early stage and series A companies. The company has been ranked among the ten most active venture capital funds according to Firrma and RVC, which are focused on Eastern Europe.[2]

LETA Capital was named “The best Russian VC fund of the year” by Russian Association of Venture Investments in 2018. Since 2018 successfully raised $50 mln LETA Capital ll fund and made 9 new investments for 2018-2019 years.

Exits[]

LETA Capital has had three exits: In 2017 LiveTex acquired LETA Capital's first startup, RedHelper.[3] Also in 2017, Unomy, the premier resource for B2B sales and marketing lead generation, was acquired by WeWork to help its team sell enterprise clients on the idea of opening offices in its workspaces around the world.[4] In late 2017 Bright Box HK Limited (Bright Box) was acquired by Zurich Insurance Group[5]), it was, probably, one of the biggest exits of Russian VC firm for the last 3 years.
