LTN Family is a 24-hour Urdu General Entertainment owned by Leo Television Network, which is based in Lahore, Pakistan. It broadcasts local and different multinational shows including Turkish and Korean Content. The Channel began its transmission on April 19, 2019.
History[]
LEO Television Network was founded in May 1996. Initially LEO marketed CATV equipment and accessories nationwide. By 2000, the LEO entered into distribution business by representing leading satellite channels Like HBO, SONY, AXN, Cartoon Network, TEN Sports and MTV in Pakistan.
In 2001 LEO started providing installation and maintenance services to CATV operators all over Pakistan.
LEO became exclusive distributor for Motorola Broadband Communications Sector in Pakistan in 2003 and installed hundreds of HFC CATV and Wireless two-way Canopy platforms. LEO also started a private cable network division and installed Lahore Biggest cable television system with the band and style of Maximum Entertainment Networks.
In 2005, LEO Communications (Pvt.) Ltd again revolutionized the Pakistan Entertainment Industry by bringing Pakistan's First Encrypted and Paid 24/7 Lollywood film satellite channel named "Filmazia". Followed by launch if "Filmax" in 2007 and "" in 2009 respectively. In 2013, LEO network launched another channel "", focusing on Pashto language films. Aruj TV was relaunched in September, 2018. LEO Television Network relaunch "Filmazia" as "LTN Family" on April 19, 2019.
