La Chapelle-Taillefert is a commune in the Creuse department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in central France.

Geography[]

An area of farming and forestry comprising the village and a few small hamlets situated in the valley of the Gartempe River, some 5 miles (8.0 km) south of Guéret at the junction of the D 52, D 940 and the D 940A roads.
