Lady Eliza Charlotte Manners (born 17 July 1997) is an English socialite, interior designer, and singer.

Biography[]

Manners is the youngest daughter of David Manners, 11th Duke of Rutland and Emma Manners, Duchess of Rutland.[1] Lady Eliza graduated from Queen Margaret's School, York before going on to attend Newcastle University to study business management.[2][3]

She and her sisters, Lady Violet and Lady Alice, are known for their social activities and outlandish behaviour, having been nicknamed "the bad-Manners girls".[4][5] She is an older sister of Charles Manners, Marquess of Granby and Lord Hugo Manners. Her eighteenth birthday party was featured in Tatler.[6]

In 2021 she was prosecuted for speeding, having been caught on camera driving at 47 mph in a 40 mph zone.[7] The subject gained significant press attention and ridicule when it became apparent that she had claimed hardship due to 'cash flow issues' in legal correspondence with magistrates in order to reduce her sentence, resulting in a halving of the original £100 fine.[8][9]
