Lady Jukbang of the Juksan Bak clan (Korean죽방부인 박씨; Hanja竹房夫人 朴氏) was the last Korean Queen Consort[3] of the Kingdom of Unified Silla as the first wife of Gyeongsun of Silla.[4][5] Her 25th ancestors was Pasa of Silla, the 5th King of Silla.

In Goryeosa (고려사, 高麗史), in 931 (14th year reign of Taejo of Goryeo), it was said that Taejo came to Silla.[6] She later bore Gyeongsun 3 sons.[7] Then, all the Princes went to Gaegolsan (nowadays is Geumgang Mountain) at morning while Gyeongsun discussed the impossibility of the two countries and devotion to Goryeo at a meeting in October 935.[citation needed]

Controversy[]

In other theory, it was claimed that Jukbang was Gyeongsun's mother, but this make the result of mistranslation in Goryeo history.

However, Goryeosa (고려사), a Historical Book as the Records of Goryeo Dynasty Periods that completed in 1451 (1st year reign of Munjong of Joseon), so it must be long time after the falls of Silla Kingdom. Meanwhile, from Goryeosa's point, Gyeongsun was regarded and recorded as the last King of Silla, so his wife, Lady Jukbang, was also recorded as the last Queen of Silla. If based on Samguk Sagi (삼국사기), it was recorded if Gyeongsun's mother was the daughter of Heongang of Silla, (계아태후, 桂娥太后).
