Lake Yessey (Russian: Ессей) is a large freshwater lake in Krasnoyarsk Krai, north-central part of Russia. It has an area of 238 km2 (92 sq mi). Many rivers empty to the lake, and the lake is rich in fish.[citation needed] The endangered Lake Yessey (Esei) Char, , is found in the waters of the lake.[1][2]
