Landhaura is a town and a nagar panchayat in Haridwar district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.

Landhaura was a Princely State of North India, which was founded by a Pawaar Gurjar Cheiftain.[1]

When the area came under British occupation in 1803, it was ruled by Raja Ram Dayal Singh and "First Freedom Fighter" Vijay Singh. Their present descendant Pranav Singh is a legislator for Khanpur constituency and a former cabinet-rank official in the State Government of Uttarakhand. Kranti movie is based on Landhaura directed by Manoj Kumar . [2][3][4]
