"Its maiden Marathi venture, Sanngto Aika that hit screens in October 2014, was an impressive one. LF ventured into a light–hearted comedy space with Gachchi in December 2017. The film was well–received by the audiences and critics alike. Taking the mantle of making content driven films, LF released ‘Redu’ in May 2018. A story, set in the 70s, it deals with the obsession of an innocent man with his radio and his pursuit to get it back. The film impressed all and sundry with its genuine story–telling. The protagonist played by Shashank Shende stole the show with his brilliant performance ably supported by Chhaya Kadam as his wife. Director, Sagar Vanjari's authentic voice was widely acclaimed. "LF added a new feather to its cap with a children’s film, Pipsi released in July 2018. The story, set against a drought affected village revolves around two innocent kids Channi and Balu, who are trying to save a fish. Maithili Patwardhan and Sahil Joshi were greatly praised by the audiences. LF devised and launched a unique learning program called ‘FilmShala’ with this film, an initiative that encouraged school children to participate in film–appreciation competitions. Well known film actors, directors and Film critics selflessly agreed to be a part of FilmShala. Over 13,000 students from across Maharashtra took part in the program, making it a tremendous success. Pipsi was premiered at the 19th Mumbai Film Festival [MAMI] – Half Ticket Section.
