Lara Fernandez (born 1996) is a Spanish kickboxing and Muay thai. She is the reigning WBC Muaythai World Flyweight champion[3] and the reigning ISKA World Super Featherweight champion.[4]

Biography[]

Fernadez began training in kickboxing when she was 14. She is a supporter of Real Betis, and she credits the club with helping raise her popularity.[5]

At Enfusion 68 Fernandez challenged Iman Barlow for the Enfusion 54 kg title. Fernandez lost a unanimous decision.[6] During Enfusion 72 she lost a decision against Lizzie Largillière, despite rallying in the last two rounds.[7]

During Mix Fight 42 Fernandez was scheduled to fight Lilit Dallakyan.[8] She won the fight by a unanimous decision.[9]

Fernandez won the ISKA World Oriental Rules Super Featherweight title in November of 2019, with a decision win over Kelly Denoiko.[10] She made her first title defense of the ISKA title during WLF World Cup 2019-2020 Final against Li Mingrui. She won a unanimous decision.[11]

Fernandez contested the WBC Muaythai World Flyweight title against Grace Spicer during Combat Fight Series 4. Although the fight was close, Fernandez won a unanimous decision after five rounds.[12]

Fernandez was scheduled to fight Amy Pirnie for the Lion Fight super-flyweight Championship at Lion Fight 68 on August 22, 2021.[13]
