Laurel High School (LHS) is a public high school in Laurel, Delaware, a community in Sussex County. The total 2009–2010 high school enrollment was 531. The student-to-teacher ratio is 22 to 1. It is a part of the Laurel School District.

In addition to Laurel the school district serves Bethel.[2]

Recognition[]

In 2006, Laurel High School was recognized as a Superior School by the Delaware Department of Education, and as one of America's Best High Schools in 2008, by U.S. News & World Report. Their students have been recognized for "their school and community service, sportsmanship, and performance in the classroom and on the competition field."
