Laurentie (concept)
Laurentie was a poetic name given to Quebec from the 1930s to the 1950s. It was also the name of the independent Quebec foreseen by the early indépendantistes of the 20th century, notably the Alliance laurentienne. It was given to the territory of Quebec in 1938 by .[1]
