Lawrence Wosskow

Lawrence Wosskow (born July 5, 1963) is a British serial entrepreneur, who previously owned a number of UK companies, including Little Chef,[1][2] a chain of 230 roadside restaurants; Out of Town Restaurants Group,[3][4] the UK's largest shopping center caterer,;[5] Free Spirit,[6] a chain of surf/outdoor retail stores; and the ice cream brands Loseley and Bradwells.

After retiring in 2006 due to ill health,[7] Wosskow took a break from business. In 2009, he began investing in UK commercial properties, most notably redeveloping Harrogate’s city center.[8][9][10]

Based in the Bahamas, Wosskow has built stakes in a number of tech businesses around the globe, including Stradigi AI, one of Canada’s largest artificial intelligence companies;[11] PopID, which is rolling out facial recognition payment globally;[12] PepperHQ, a UK-based company bringing order and pay at the table to the restaurant sector;[13] Soundtrack Your Brand, a Swedish-based company and major music licensor to commercial outlets;[14] Curve, a London-based platform that consolidates multiple cards into one smart card/app;[15] Ubicquia,[citation needed] PredaSAR, which is building the largest constellation of satellites in the world;[16] and Kitchen United, a leader in the cloud kitchen sector.[17]

Wosskow's book, Little Chef, the Heart of the Deal[18], a U.K. Best Seller, was released on November 28, 2017.[19]
