They offer a range of IT training alongside business and service management training. In 2010, the company had revenue of $127.47 million.[3]

Overview[]

Founded in 1974, Learning Tree International provides hands-on IT and management training, and has served participants from around the world to train under the guidance of instructors. Partnerships with technology providers & certification bodies such as Microsoft, the IIBA, the PMI, and CompTIA have expanded its curriculum to keep pace with technology and business demands. Learning Tree delivers its courses in 4 ways: in-class at one of their global education centers, online from home or work, a blended approach of self-paced with in-person instruction or, at the user's location with on-site team training.[4]

History[]

Learning Tree International was founded in 1974 by two engineers, David C. Collins, Ph.D., and Eric R. Garen under the name of Integrated Computer Systems. The first course offering was Microprocessors and Microcomputers.

During the 2000s, the company focused on the changing learning requirements of information technology professionals. The AnyWare platform was developed to allow students anywhere in the world to attend live, instructor-led classes virtually from home or office. More recently, blended learning solutions have been introduced to provide the convenience of self-paced training and the personal connection of in-person instruction. This has resulted in a learning ecosystem that responds to the growing need for diverse formal and informal learning options.
