History[]
On April 30, 1992, several instances of race related violence took place in the aftermath of the Rodney King riots. Classes were ended early in response to multiple fights that day.[4] In January 2018, Lebanon High School received widespread criticism from the public when the school's principal, Scott Walters, controversially gave two days in-school suspension to a female student who posted a YouTube video to create awareness of Walter’s dismissive response against bullying.[5]
