Lehi station, also known as Thanksgiving Point Commuter Rail Station, is a FrontRunner commuter rail station in Lehi, Utah. It is operated by the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) and is part of the FrontRunner South extension.

Description[]

The station is located within the Thanksgiving Point business park at 3101 North Ashton Boulevard and is accessed from I-15 by way of the Timpanogos Highway (SR-92/Club House Drive) interchange. To reach the station, head west from I-15 on Timpanogos Highway (which becomes Clubhouse Drive), then turn left (south) onto Ashton Boulevard. The station has a Park and Ride lot with over 735 free parking spaces available.[2] Since the Union Pacific (UP) railroad tracks separate the passenger platform from the parking lot and bus stops, there is a pedestrian underpass that allows passengers to cross under the UP tracks. There is also another pedestrian underpass for Garden Drive that connects with the Jordan River Parkway Trail. While there are many professional office buildings nearby the station in the business park, there are currently very limited retail options in close proximity.[citation needed][original research?] The station is located within the Quiet Zone, so trains do not routinely sound their horns when approaching public crossings within this corridor.[4][5] The station opened, along with the rest of FrontRunner South, on December 10, 2012[3] and is operated by Utah Transit Authority.

FrontRunner[]

On weekdays the FrontRunner has about twenty-three round trips between Ogden and Provo (through Salt Lake City) and about five more round trips between Ogden and Downtown Salt Lake City. On Saturdays there are only nineteen round trips between Ogden and Provo. Trains run hourly from about 4:30 am to just after midnight on weekdays (with additional half-hour runs for the morning and evening commutes). Saturdays have hourly runs from about 6:00 am to 2:30 am Sunday morning. As of August 2013 the FrontRunner does not run on Sundays or holidays. Each weekday, service is extended to Pleasant View station with two trains picking up (no dropping off) passengers early in the morning and two more trains picking up and dropping off passengers in the evening.[6]
