Lepechiniella is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Boraginaceae.[1]

Its native range is Iran and Western Himalaya, to Xinjiang (in China). It is also found in the countries of Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Pakistan, Tadzhikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.[1]

The genus name of Lepechiniella is in honour of Ivan Lepyokhin (1740–1802), a Russian naturalist, zoologist, botanist and explorer.[2] It was first described and published in V.L.Komarov (ed.), Fl. URSS Vol.19 on page 713 in 1953.[1]
