Leslie Berland is the CMO of Twitter.
She is also Head of People[1] at the company.[2] Prior to that she spent over a decade[3] in executive roles at AmEx[4] establishing[5] the financial service company’s initial social media strategies.[6] (She also had executive PR roles at Ketchum[7] and GCI Health.[8] She is on the board of directors[9] of the Ad Council.)[10].
Forbes ranked Berland #3 in their World's Most Influential CMOs list.[11] Fast Company ranked Berland sixth[12] in their 100 Most Creative People in Business[13] for redefining the phrase social currency.[14] She was featured in Advertising Age's Creativity 50 list.[15] In 2018, she was appointed to the National Board of Directors at Make a Wish Foundation[16]
