Lev Khasis

Lev Khasis (Лев Аронович Хасис; born 5 June 1966, in Kuybyshev, now Samara, RSFSR, USSR) was the first CEO of the X5 Retail Group (2006–2011). Vice-Chairman of Jet.com, Inc until the company was acquired by Walmart in September 2016, Board member of Boxed.com, Board Member of LendingHome.com since February 2017. Chairman of the board of Evotor.ru since February 2017. Chairman of the board of DocDoc.ru

COO and First deputy CEO of Sberbank since 2013.

Education[]

In 1989 he graduated from Kuybyshev Aviation Institute, the aircraft engineering faculty. In 1995 he graduated from banking faculty of the Moscow Financial Academy. In 2001 he earned a Master of Law at Saint Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Law School.

In July 2006 he received his PhD in Economics from the Institute for System Analysis at the Russian Academy of Sciences.[1]
