Lewis White (born 17 April 2000) is a retired Paralympic British swimmer who competed as a S9 classification swimmer, mainly in freestyle events. He trained under Mel Marshall at City of Derby Swimming Club, along Breaststroke WR holder Adam Peaty. He moved to City of Manchester Aquatics in 2018 where he trained under Mark Rose. He still holds multiple long course and short course British Records in 50/100/200/400 freestyle events in the S9 category as well as 1 short course European Record. He was 20+ time British champion starting from the age of 12. He retired in early 2020. [1]

Personal history[]

White was born in Norwich, England, in April 2000 and grew up in Lowestoft before moving to Derby.[2] He was born without a right hand.[2]
