Lightridge High School is a public high school in Aldie, Virginia. Lightridge is within the jurisdiction Loudoun County Public Schools. The school was opened at beginning of the 2020–21 school year to relieve overcrowding at John Champe High School.[1][2]
Administration[]
The principal of Lightridge High School is Ryan Hitchman.[3] Before being appointed princiapl, Hitchman was the principal of Belmont Ridge Middle School. He was also a middle school principal in Montgomery County Public Schools and St. Mary's County Public Schools.[4]

Athletics[]
Lightridge High School's mascot is the Lightning. They play in the 4A Dulles District. Lightridge has basketball, competitive cheer, cross country, field hockey, football, golf, gymnastics, indoor and outdoor track, girls' volleyball, lacrosse. wrestling, swimming, baseball, soccer, softball and tennis as varsity sports.[6]
