List of Pani Poni Dash! episodes

This article lists the episodes from the anime series Pani Poni Dash! which aired in Japan on TV Tokyo between July 4, 2005 and December 26, 2005. Each episode ends with a still image drawn by Japanese illustrators of anime, manga, and visual novels; these are listed below as endcards. The anime has since been licensed by United States based company Funimation Entertainment in North America and ADV Films in the United Kingdom. King Records subsidiary Starchild has the video and music rights for the anime. A special OVA was released with DVD box set containing the anime series, on April 15, 2009. Funimation released a complete DVD box set on March 10, 2009. On October 26, 2010, Funimation re-released the complete series as a part of their Super Amazing Value Edition line-up.[1]

Annoyed by Himeko's overactive nature, Becky rips off her cowlick which completely depletes her energy. When the cowlick goes missing (it was transported off the planet by the aliens who then lose it), Becky tries to make a replacement to bring Himeko back to normal.
4"Don't Count Your Chickens Before They Hatch"

5"It is a Treasure If It Is Fulfilling"

The first-year students go on a camping trip. They set up in groups of four, except for Kurumi, who planned the teams but forgot to include herself on the list. Becky tries to cheer her up by getting her to join her team. They encounter a giant salamander. Rei decides to cook Chinese food.
6"Poking a Bush Only Lures Snakes"

Becky gets permission from the headmaster to have a personal research lab, although finding a new room proves difficult especially with a mysterious door on the ceiling. After getting settled, Becky tries to relax but is visited frequently by her students who share their problems as if she were a counselor.
7"Good and Bad Luck Are Decided by the Person, Not the Calendar"

After Becky loses at rock-paper-scissors, she has the Class 1-C girls clean the school pool. Ichijo's little sister heads to the school, but trouble arises when the aliens transport her on board and then return her to Earth as a giantess.
8"Bear with Sanshō Spice Is Like Carp with Pepper"

Behoimi, the self-proclaimed magical girl from class 1-D, begins to doubt her value compared to many of the other students who appear to have better characters. Becky tries to cheer her up, but does not succeed. The girls try to fashion a magic item but Mesousa's bad luck turns it out of control. Later, a fire breaks out in the rabbit hutch, but Behoimi is able to save Giant Salamander.
9"There Are Eight-Year-Old Sages and 100-Year-Old Kids"

Becky is invited to an island on the southern tip of Japan to take part in an archeology expedition, though when she arrives she finds the Class 1-C girls there. The expedition team finds a bunch of Mesousas and must determine which one is real. Later, the team falls in a hole. The professor tells the girls about Becky's time at MIT.
10"Even a Thoroughbred Has Its Habits"

The students give presentations on their summer projects. Meanwhile, Behoimi and Media try to disarm a large number of bombs that were set all over the school.
11"Inscrutable Are the Ways of Heaven"

The class 1-C girls learn from Media that Sayaka Suzuki, also called "Number 6", has been riding around with someone in a green Midget convertible. They ask Sayaka if she is seeing anyone and who owns the car but she dodges the question and says that it is not like that. The girls ask Becky to find who has the keys to the car; Becky does so and gets a wild ride.
12"There Are No Classes Among Humans, But There Are In Humans' Hearts"

When the topic of dreams comes up, Becky discovers that she has not had any in a while. The aliens acquire a device that can read minds; they try it on Becky but the beam hits Himeko instead and goes out of control, which causes Becky and the class 1-C girls to fall asleep and enter Himeko's dream world.
13"The Wages of Sin Come Like the Tip of a Needle"

The All-Japan Banchou League comes to Becky's school to have a battle with her, although they are much too powerful for her to take on alone. The students try to negotiate with Bancho but it fails. Bancho then sends two of his henchmen after Becky. Just when things seem hopeless, Suzune and Ichijo defeat the henchmen, and the headmaster sends Becky a key to a giant robot.
14"Hugging a Stone and Jumping into an Abyss"

The headmaster goes out of town, which leaves Becky with no lunch, since the bento her older sister made for her is inedible. She orders Kurumi's twin brother Shu from class 1-A to make her lunch. Ichijo brings a raccoon dog for food, but they let him free and he has the ability to talk and transform. When Shu takes a day off; Becky tries to cook for herself.
15"Endure Patiently and You Will Not Wilt"

When on a school excursion, the bus of class 1-C ends up dangling on the edge of a cliff. There is not much they can do during this time but stay put and hope someone saves them.
16"Adversity Makes a Man Wise"

The class 1-C girls notice that Ichijo is acting stranger than usual and try to investigate her whereabouts to discover what is the matter with her. Ultimately Ichijo finds out she has been "targeted" and surprises some of the Intelligence Club members who have been tailing her. She requests help from the captain of the aliens.
17"The Way to Heaven Does Not Favor Anyone"

The school festival has arrived and class 1-C decides to do a café called "Fighting Maid Café Momotsuki" which ends up being a very popular attraction. Rei organizes the operations to maximize profit. Becky, who originally had misgivings about the festival, conducts an inspection tour of the different attractions and finds that she enjoys the event.
18"Good Things Come to He Who Waits"

An inexperienced goddess of misfortune attaches a time bomb onto the forehead of Mesousa. The bomb is set to go off in a week, however, after Media plays with it, the time is reduced to about three hours. With such little time to live, Mesousa searches for the goddess. Meanwhile, Becky, Media and Behoimi try out various methods to disarm a similarly-constructed bomb on a captive Akane.
19"Art Causes Harm to the Body"

A mysterious Peach Moon Virus infects the students of class 1-C and they are thus quarantined. After Old Geezer falls sick and is quarantined, Becky tries to work with the students of class 1-D to try to find a solution, but the talks break down as the students accuse each other of carrying or being the cause of the virus.
20"A Wise Man Will Know When to Approach Danger"

The mushroom that attached itself to Himeko in the previous episode causes Himeko's personality to change slightly so that she shuns Becky. It later reveals itself to be an invading alien bent on conquering the Earth. There is not much time left before its plan is carried out.
21"A Demon Wearing Clothes"

The PTA wants to evaluate Becky's teaching ability, but she goes missing. The class 1-C girls scramble to find a replacement, and recruit Akane Serizawa of the drama club to impersonate Becky for the time being.
22"Today a Man, Tomorrow a Mouse"

When the interview team from the show Surprise Attack! The Homeroom Next Door comes to Peach Moon and starts interviewing classes, Becky gets upset and tells her students she does not want to be filmed on television. The girls search for her and try to figure out why she was upset.
23"Misfortunes Never Come One by One"

The weather gets colder towards the end of the year; some of the Class 1-C girls ponder hot springs, while Suzune does puppet theater with some schoolmates and Becky. Later, Becky is hit by a series of misfortunes, and then unlucky things hit everyone. A snowstorm starts outside and a large comet makes its way to Earth.
24"You Are Responsible for Your Own Death"

The side story is set in the Edo period, Bekiemon Miyamoto has instituted the hau hau (はうはう, "waah waah") tax which fines anyone who cries, and collects the proceeds for herself. The residents who are not arrested get upset and hire a group of girls (the class 1-C girls) to fight Bekiemon.
25"A Time of Crisis"

The class 1-C girls finally set out to defend the Earth by launching their Pani Poni X Turbo mecha. They discover the comet is the Ichijo Festival box. Ichijo negotiates with the box, but its invaders attack anyway. The box then sucks everyone inside, where Becky and the class 1-C girls must find the core.
26"No One Knows What May Happen Tomorrow"

Even though there was a snow blizzard in the previous episodes, it is very hot outside. The headmaster cancels afternoon classes so the students can have fun in a large water park that comes up from under the school grounds as buildings move apart to make way.
