13 Natomas/Arden Natomas Marketplace, Sleep Train Arena, Northgate, Arden Way, Uptown Sacramento, Arden Fair Mall, Encina High School, Arden Watt Marketplace, Kaiser Sacramento, Country Club Plaza/Country Club Centre Arden/Del Paso 6 am – 9:30 pm 7 am – 10 pm 7 am – 10 pm On September 8, 2019, line 13 was rerouted west on San Juan from Northgate to Truxel, extended north on Truxel and west on Del Paso, and was extended east replacing line 22 with an extension further east to Butano & El Camino as part of SacRT Forward. Line 113, which was created on September 8, 2019, as part of SacRT Forward, covers service on along North Market, and follows the old route of line 13, with a rerouting directly on North Market rather than via National and Sierra Point, and service on Gateway Parkway was discontinued.[3]
15 Del Paso Heights Grant Union High School, Del Paso Heights, Uptown Sacramento, Downtown Commons, California State Capitol, Downtown (8th & O) via Grand & Rio Linda Watt/I-80, Arden/Del Paso, Globe, 7th & Richards, 7th & I, 8th & K, St. Rose of Lima Park 5:30 am – 9 pm 6:30 am – 9:30 pm 8 am – 9:30 pm Along with the Rio Linda Blvd segment, line 15 also operated on T Street from 8th/9th Streets in Downtown Sacramento, through Elmhurst, to the Tahoe Park area. Prior to 1980, the T Street portion was part of line 4, which operated between West Sacramento (East Yolo) and Tahoe Park. Line 15 operated along T Street from Downtown Sacramento to Tahoe Park between 1979 and 2003. This portion of line 15 was replaced by former line 37 on September 28, 2003.[4] The section of line 15 south of Arden/Del Paso was discontinued on September 8, 2019, as part of SacRT Forward; alternative service is available on the Blue Line and line 11. That same day, line 15 was renamed from Rio Linda Blvd-O St to Del Paso Heights.[5]
19 Rio Linda Watt Towne Center, Elverta Crossing/Walmart, Center High School, Gibson Ranch County Park, Rio Linda, Rio Linda Plaza, Rio Linda High School, Del Paso Heights, Uptown Sacramento, Elverta Road Watt/I-80, Arden/Del Paso 5:30 am – 9 pm 7 am – 8 pm 7 am – 7:30 pm Line 19 once continued along Watt Avenue to Country Club Plaza area and to Kaiser Medical Center on Morse Avenue. Service south of the Watt/I-80 LRT station was discontinued in 1990. On September 8, 2019, line 19 was rerouted directly on Rio Linda between Bell and Elkhorn, and was also rerouted from 10th Street east on O Street, south on Dry Creek, east on Elkhorn, and north on Watt as part of SacRT Forward. Service on Claire and Dry Creek between Bell and Elkhorn and from O Street to Watt via 10th Street, Q Street, Rio Linda, Elverta was eliminated. Service via Watt south of Elkhorn was eliminated; alternative service is available on lines 26 and 84.[6]
21 Sunrise-Citrus Heights Mills Center, Cordova High School, Sunriver Village Shopping Center, Gold River Town Center, Fair Oaks Village, Sunrise Village/Quail Pointe Shopping Center, Sunrise Mall, Copperwood Square Shopping Center, Louis & Orlando transfer point via Sunrise Mather Field/Mills 6 am – 10:45 pm 6 am – 10:30 pm 7 am – 10 pm Line 21 is the former portion of line 1 that originally operated between Sunrise Mall and Butterfield (later, Mather Field/Mills) station. Created on July 21, 2004.[7] On January 6, 2008, line 21 was extended south to the Louis and Orlando transit center in Roseville, replacing line 91.
23 El Camino Sunrise Mall, San Juan High School, Greenback San Juan Center, Carmichael Village, Carmichael Oaks Shopping Center, El Camino High School, Country Club Plaza/Country Club Centre, Arden Fair Mall, Uptown Sacramento Arden/Del Paso 5 am – 10:30 pm 6:30 am – 9 pm 6:30 am – 9:30 pm Line 88 took over the West El Camino Avenue portion of line 23 in 1991. Prior to 1980, line 23 continued to Folsom. Line 23 was rerouted from Ethan Way to Howe Ave via Alta Arden Way on September 8, 2019, as part of SacRT Forward.[8]
25 Marconi Sunrise Mall, Sunrise Village/Quail Pointe Shopping Center, Madison & Dewey Marketplace, Mercy San Juan Medical Center, Madison Square, Crestview Village Shopping Center, Carmichael Village, Carmichael Oaks Shopping Center, Town & Country Village Marconi/Arcade 5:30 am – 11 pm 8 am – 10:45 pm 7 am – 9:15 pm Service via Madison to Sunrise Mall was eliminated on September 8, 2019, as part of SacRT Forward (transfer to line 1 to get to Sunrise Mall; use SmaRT Ride Microtransit or walk from line 25 to get to Madison). Line 25 was instead rerouted to go from Coyle & Dewey north on Dewey, continuing onto Van Maren, and north on Auburn to Louis/Orlando transit center, replacing a portion of line 93, which was rerouted.[9]
26 Fulton McClellan Business Park, Town & Country Village, Loehmann's Plaza, Pavilions, CSU Sacramento University/65th Street, Watt/I-80 6 am – 11 pm 8 am – 10:45 pm 8 am – 9:15 pm Service extended north on Watt to Elverta on September 8, 2019, as part of SacRT Forward (replacing a portion of line 19, which was rerouted).[10]
30 J St. CSU Sacramento Transit Center, Mercy General Hospital, Sutter General Hospital, Sutter's Fort State Historic Park, Lavender Heights, Sacramento Convention Center, Downtown Sacramento, Downtown Commons 8th & K, St. Rose of Lima Park, 7th & I, Sacramento Valley 6 am – 9:45 pm 6:30 am – 9:30 pm 6:30 am – 9:30 pm On September 8, 2019, line 30 was rerouted in downtown to follow 39th Street and L Street westbound rather than going by Capitol Mall and following J Street all the way to 9th Street as part of SacRT Forward; line 30 also began to be shared with line 38.[11] Also, line 30 started to be shared with line 38.
38 Tahoe Park UC Davis Medical Center, Downtown Commons, California State Capitol, Broadway & 8th via Downtown University/65th Street, 29th Street, St. Rose of Lima Park, 8th & O, Sacramento Valley 5:30 am – 10:15 pm 6:45 am – 9:15 pm 6:30 am – 9:30 pm Formally line 8. Changed to line 38 in September 1982. On September 8, 2019, line 38 was rerouted from 39th & Stockton to turn north on 39th and go west on J/L Street to downtown; outbound trips from Sacramento Valley follow H Street and 6th Street directly to J Street; line 38 also began to be shared with line 30. The Downtown SmaRT Ride zone extended to cover the deleted portions. The name was changed from line 38 P/Q streets to line 38 Tahoe Park.[12]
51 Broadway-Stockton Florin Towne Centre, Fruitridge Shopping Center, Downtown Commons, California State Capitol, Downtown (7th & G) 8th & O, 7th-8th & Capitol, St. Rose of Lima Park, Broadway 5:30 am – 10:30 pm 6 am – 9 pm 7 am – 9:30 pm At one time, operated along Fruitridge Road from Stockton Blvd to Power Inn Road. Also served the Glen Elder neighborhood prior to the late 1990s.
56 Pocket-Cosumnes River College Cosumnes River College, Methodist Hospital of Sacramento, Kaiser South Sacramento, Southpointe Plaza, South Center/Valley Shopping Center, The Promenade, Pocket Transit Center Meadowview 5:45 am – 10:30 pm 8 am – 10:30 pm 7:30 am – 9:15 pm Line 56 was created in 1992, to provide all-day service between Downtown Sacramento and Elk Grove, via Laguna Creek. In the fall of 2003, line service to Downtown Sacramento was discontinued, due to the opening of the new Blue Line segment to Meadowview. On September 8, 2019, line 56 was rerouted via Brookfield and Franklin rather than on Mack Rd between Brookfield and Franklin as part of SacRT Forward, replacing line 47, which was discontinued.[13]
61 Fruitridge Fruitridge Shopping Center, South Land Park & 35th via Fruitridge Power Inn, College Greens, Fruitridge 5:45 am – 9:15 pm 7 am – 9 pm 7 am – 8:15 pm Originally operated as the Freeport-Fruitridge line from 1974 to 2003. Formerly served McMahon Drive and Lemon Hill Avenue, and terminated at Florin Mall (now Florin Towne Centre). Aligned along its current segment since 2003, due to the opening of the Blue Line light rail segment to Meadowview. On September 8, 2019, line 61 was rerouted to turn south on Power Inn and replaced part of line 65 to Florin Towne Centre as part of SacRT Forward. Service on Fruitridge east of Power Inn and on Florin-Perkins from Belvedere to Fruitridge was discontinued. Service from College Greens station to Belvedere Ave at Florin-Perkins Road is available on line 161 (which was created on September 8, 2019, as part of SacRT Forward). Alternative service from Power Inn and Fruitridge to College Greens is available by transfer to line 81 northbound, and then transfer to the Gold Line eastbound. That same day, also as part of SacRT Forward, line 61 extended west via 43rd and Riverside Drive, then west on Gloria and replaced part of line 2 to Pocket Transit Center; line 2 was renumbered to line 102 and was reduced to peak service only.[14]
62 Freeport Pocket Transit Center, The Promenade, Sacramento City College, McClatchy High School, Lavender Heights, Downtown Commons, California State Capitol, Downtown (3rd & J) 4th Avenue/Wayne Hultgren, Broadway, St. Rose of Lima Park 5:45 am – 9:30 pm 7 am – 10 pm 7:15 am – 10 pm Line 62 formerly operated as the Freeport - Florin line from 1974 to 2003. Line 62 served Florin Road between Stockton Blvd and South Land Park Drive before being rerouted on its current alignment in the fall of 2003. On September 8, 2019, line 62 was rerouted west from 43rd & 13th Street to continue west on 43rd and then turn south on Land Park Drive as part of SacRT Forward, replacing part of line 6; line 6 was renumbered to line 106 and was reduced to peak service only.[15]
67 Franklin Arden Fair Mall, Cal Expo, Sutter General Hospital, Sutter's Fort State Historic Park, Sacramento Charter High School, Southgate, Florin Towne Centre via Franklin 29th Street 5 am – 10:45 pm 6:30 am – 10 pm 7 am – 10 pm Shared with Route 68. Was line 72 prior to September 1982. Prior to 1990, line 67 (along with line 68) operated to Downtown Sacramento, inbound via 30th Street, K Street, 28th Street, I Street, 15th Street, L Street, terminating on 3rd Street before J Street; outbound trips originated at 3rd and J Streets and traveled east on J Street to 29th Street. On September 8, 2019, line 67 was realigned off of Florin (use line 81 for alternative service on Florin) and was rerouted south via Franklin, east on Mack and on an identical routing to line 56 from there to Cosumnes River College as part of SacRT Forward, replacing part of line 65, which was discontinued.[16]
68 44th Street Arden Fair Mall, Cal Expo, Sutter General Hospital, Sutter's Fort State Historic Park, Sacramento Charter High School, Florin Towne Centre via MLK & 44th, Vineyard Square/Power Inn Center, Southpointe Plaza, Kaiser South Sacramento, Methodist Hospital of Sacramento, Cosumnes River College 29th Street 5:30 am – 11:15 pm 7:15 am – 10 pm 7 am – 9:45 pm Shared with Route 67. Was line 71 prior to September 1982. On September 8, 2019, line 68 was rerouted off of Steiner and Sky Parkway (these areas lost service); line 68 instead was rerouted to continue east on 47th and then turn south on Stockton instead. Line 68 extended south via the current line 55, except that line 68 was extended via Florin and Palmer House rather than Florin Mall Drive, Orange Avenue, Chandler Drive, and Lindale Drive.[17]
72 Rosemont-Lincoln Village Folsom Lake College (Rancho Cordova Center Campus), Bradville Square/Bradshaw Marketplace, Rosemont High School, Rosemont Plaza Mather Fields/Mills, Watt/Manlove 5:45 am – 9:30 pm 8 am – 7:30 pm 8 am – 6:30 pm Created on September 6, 1998; part replaced the old route of line 28 (which was rerouted to replace line 78).[18] In September 2019, Saturday service will extend to 7 am – 9:30 pm, and Sunday service will extend to 7 am – 9 pm.[19]
75 Mather Field VA Sacramento, Folsom Lake College (Rancho Cordova Center Campus), Mather Airport Mather Field/Mills 6:30 am – 7:30 pm 7:30 am – 6 pm 7:30 am – 6 pm Loop service; created on June 17, 2001.[20][21] On September 8, 2019, line 75 extended southwest to Butterfield station as part of SacRT Forward, replacing part of line 28, which was discontinued. That same day, also as part of SacRT Forward, line 75 from Mather Field & Rockingham was rerouted to go southwest on Rockingham, and continue via Old Placerville, Schriever, Armstrong, Bleckley, McCuen, Femoyer, International, Data, and Capital

Center, replacing part of line 74, which was discontinued.[22]

81 Florin-65th Florin & Riverside, John F. Kennedy High School (Sacramento), Lake Crest Village Shopping Center, Luther Burbank High School, Southgate Plaza, Florin Towne Centre, Hiram W. Johnson High School University/65th Street 5:15 am – 11 pm 6:15 am – 10:30 pm 6:15 am – 9 pm Operated from Greenhaven to Roseville, via CSUS, Kaiser Hospital Sacramento Medical Center, American River College, Mercy San Juan Hospital, and Sunrise Mall from circa 1974 to 1977. Line later shortened to Sunrise Mall in the late 1970s, and then shortened again to American River College in September 1982. Line then shortened along its current alignment on September 3, 2000, when the north half was split into line 82.[23][24]
82 Howe-65th American River College, Mira Loma High School, Arcade Square Shopping Center, Country Club Plaza/Country Club Centre, Kaiser Sacramento, Loehmann's Plaza, Pavilions, CSU Sacramento University/65th Street 5 am – 11:15 pm 6 am – 10:45 pm 7:15 am – 10 pm Created to cover half of line 81 on September 3, 2000.[25][26] In September 2019, line 82 was rerouted from Whitney & Mission to Winding Way & College Oak to go east on Whitney, north on Walnut, and west on Winding Way. The old route north on Mission, west on Engle, north on Eastern, east on Edison, north on Mission, and east on Winding Way lost service.[27]
84 Watt Watt & Elverta, Center High School, Elverta Crossing/Walmart, Elkhorn Shopping Center, Highlands High School, Discovery Museum, Arcade Square Shopping Center, Country Club Plaza/Country Club Centre, Kaiser Sacramento, Arden Watt Marketplace Watt/Manlove, Starfire 5:30 am – 10:30 pm 7 am – 10:15 pm 7 am – 9:15 pm Created in 1987. Was known as 84 Watt-North Highlands and was joined with line 80 until September 8, 2019. On September 8, 2019, line 84 was rerouted from Walerga & Antelope to continue north on Walerga and turn west on Elverta rather than following Antelope and Watt as part of SacRT Forward (line 26 covers Watt, but there is no service on Antelope), and the line was also rerouted on the south end from Watt & La Riviera east on La Rivieraand southwest on Folsom as part of SacRT Forward, replacing part of line 80, which was discontinued; line 84 covers the portion of line 80 from Rivera to Elkhorn. The line was renamed 84 Wat6[28]
86 San Juan-Silver Eagle Grant Union High School, Del Paso Heights, Natomas High School, Downtown Commons, California State Capitol, Downtown (9th & K) Marconi/Arcade 5:30 am – 10:15 pm 6:45 am – 9:45 pm 7 am – 9 pm Created to cover the Marconi/Arcade to Downtown Sacramento portion of line 87 in April 2004.[29][30]
87 Howe Pavilions, CSU Sacramento Marconi/Arcade, university/65th Street 6 am – 9:30 pm 6:45 am – 10 pm 6:45 am – 9:30 pm Line 87 was a crosstown route, operating from Downtown Sacramento to Sacramento City College via Natomas, Del Paso Heights, Arden-Arcade, East Sacramento, Tahoe Park, and Oak Park. Line 87 replaced line 9 in June 1981. Line 87 once had service along 39th Street (between Stockton Boulevard and D Street), D Street, 46th Street, F Street (to serve the now defunct Sutter Memorial Hospital), Elvas Avenue, H Street to CSUS; this service was part of line 9 and service to Sutter Memorial Hospital was discontinued Labor Day weekend 1983. Formerly operated along line 86's current alignment (with a slight deviation). Also, line 87 continued beyond University/65th Street to Sacramento City College, via the U.C. Davis Medical Center and Central Oak Park. Line service from University/65th Street to City College was discontinued in 1996, due to coverage by (then new) line 83.[31]
88 West El Camino Uptown Sacramento, Stone Creek Plaza/Discovery Center, Downtown Commons, California State Capitol, Downtown (9th & K) via West El Camino Ave Arden/Del Paso 5:45 am – 9:45 pm 6:45 am – 10 pm 7:45 am – 9:15 pm Formerly a portion of line 23.
93 Hillsdale Citrus Heights (Louis & Orlando), Grand Oaks Center, Costco/Walmart Citrus Heights, Creekside Center, Elkhorn Plaza, Foothill High School, Hillsdale Plaza Watt/I-80 5:45 am – 9:45 pm 7:30 am – 8:45 pm 7:30 am – 8:45 pm On September 8, 2019, line 93 was realigned from Andrea & Elkhorn to continue northeast on Andrea and continue via Tupelo, Antelope, and Auburn rather than via Auburn and Elkhorn as part of SacRT Forward, replacing part of line 95, which was discontinued. For service on Auburn Blvd, use realigned line 25. Use line 193 (which was renumbered from line 103 that day) for service on Elkhorn (or walk from line 1 or line 93 if line 193 does not operate at this time)[32]
'102 Riverside Commuter Rush River & Windbridge, The Promenade, John F. Kennedy High School, Downtown Commons, California State Capitol, Downtown (7th & G) 5:30 am – 9 am/2:25 pm – 7 pm Was line 2 Riverside before September 2019; it was renumbered and renamed as part of SacRT Forward because service was reduced to be peak only.[33]
103 Riverside Express Pocket & Greenhaven, John F. Kennedy High School, Downtown Commons, California State Capitol, Downtown (7th & G) 8th & O, 7th-8th & Capitol, St. Rose of Lima Park 6 am – 8 am/4 pm – 6 pm Was line 3 before September 2019; renumbered on September 8, 2019, as part of SacRT Forward because it is a peak only route.[34]
105 Elsie Meadowview, South Center/Valley Shopping Center, Southpointe Plaza, Kaiser South Sacramento, Florin High School Meadowview 7:15 am – 7:40 am, 3:40 pm – 4:02 pm Service was originally numbered line 5, and line 5 (along with line #6 (now line #106)) operated from Downtown Sacramento, down Land Park/South Land Park Drives, Alma Vista Drive, to Meadowview Road and 24th Street. Service was later extended to Kaiser South Sacramento Medical Center in the early 1990s, and then to Florin High School and Old Town Elk Grove around the mid 1990s. Line 5 was renumbered line 105 Elsie on September 8, 2019, as part of SacRT Forward because service was reduced to be peak only.[35]
106 Land Park Commuter Rush River & Windbridge - Downtown (7th & G) 8th & O, 7th-8th & Capitol, St. Rose of Lima Park 5:30 am – 8 pm Was line 6 Land Park until September 8, 2019; it was renumbered and renamed as part of SacRT Forward because service was reduced to be peak only.[36]
107 Pocket Express Rush River & Windbridge - Downtown (7th & G) 8th & O, 7th-8th & Capitol, St. Rose of Lima Park 6 am – 8 am/4 pm – 6 pm Service was originally numbered line 7. Prior to the Blue Line extension opening to Meadowview, line 7 was an express bus that operated between Downtown Sacramento, Meadowview Road, and Mack Road. Between 2000 and 2003, line 7 operated all day express service, Monday through Friday. Line 7 was renumbered line 107 on September 8, 2019, as part of SacRT Forward because it is a peak only route.[37]
109 Hazel Express Cable Park Shopping Center/Walmart, Madison Marketplace, Nimbus Dam Recreation Area, California State Capitol, Midtown Sacramento, Downtown Sacramento, Downtown Commons 8th & O, 7th-8th & Capitol, St. Rose of Lima Park 6:30 am – 7:30 am/4:30 pm – 6:30 pm Line once ended at the Butterfield LRT.
113 North Market Commuter Natomas Marketplace, Sleep Train Arena, Northgate Arden/Del Paso 6:30 am – 5:30 pm Created on September 8, 2019, as part of SacRT Forward to replace service on route 13 as part of SacRT Forward.[38]
129 Arden-California Dewey & Madison, Del Campo High School, Carmichael Oaks Shopping Center, Arden Watt Marketplace, Arden Fair Mall, Governor's Mansion State Historic Park, Wells Fargo Pavilion, Downtown Commons, Downtown Sacramento (8th & O) 7th & I, 8th & K, St. Rose of Lima Park 6:20 am – 7:40 am/4:30-6 pm Created circa 1974 as a local line for Arden Way. Operated from Fair Oaks to Downtown Sacramento. In September 2019, line 29 was renumbered line 129 as part of SacRT Forward because it is a peak only route.[39]
134 McKinley Commuter CSUS, Sutter Memorial Hospital, Downtown Commons, Downtown (8th & O), 7th & I, 8th & K, St. Rose of Lima Park, Sacramento Valley 6 am – 9 am, 2:30 pm – 6 pm Was originally numbered line 1. Line 1 was renumbered line 34 on Labor Day Weekend 1982. Line 34 also operated along Folsom Blvd and Capitol Avenue from Downtown Sacramento to University/65th Street until September 1992, and was called 34 Folsom - McKinley. After September 1992, former line 36 took over bus service along the Folsom/Capitol segment, and the line was renamed line 34 McKinley. In September 2019, line 34 was renumbered line 134 as part of SacRT forward because service was reduced to be peak only. The bus route will be realigned off of Coloma Way and Pala Way to use thenew 53rd Street extension through former Sutter Hospital site, upon construction.[40]

Uses 12 Battery Electric Proterra E2 Catalyst buses, 6 from YoloBus and 6 from SacRT.[42] Buses feature WiFi and USB cahrging ports.

Line 5 was renumbered and renamed line 105 Elsie on September 8, 2019, as part of SacRT Forward because service was reduced to be peak only.[49] Alternative off-peak service is available on line 56, the extended line 67, the extended line 68, and the SmaRT Ride Gerber (a new SmaRT Ride line created on September 8, 2019, as part of SacRT Forward).[50][51]

Between 2000 and 2003, line 7 operated all day express service, Monday through Friday. Renumbered line 107 on September 7, 2019, as part of SacRT Forward as it was a peak only route.[53]

9 (first use) Crosstown Natomas, Gardenland, Strawberry Manor, North Sacramento, Arden Fair Shopping Center, Arden-Arcade, CSUS, East Sacramento, Oak Park, Curtis Park, Land Park. Line 9 was a crosstown route established in November 1968 under the Sacramento Transit Authority (STA). Line 9 originated at Riverside Boulevard and 12th Avenue and continued to the Natomas area via 12th and 14th Avenues through William Land Park, Freeport Blvd, Sutterville Road, 12th Avenue, 33rd Street, 5th Avenue, Broadway, Stockton Blvd, 39th Street, D Street, 46th Street, F Street, Elvas Avenue, H Street, Carlson Drive, CSUS, J Street, Fair Oaks Boulevard, Howe Avenue, Arden Way, and Grove Avenue to El Camino Avenue. At Grove and El Camino, line 9 traveled either clockwise or counter-clockwise to serve Gardenland, Natomas, and Strawberry Manor. Line 9 operated Monday through Friday only. On June 7, 1981, line 9 was changed to lines 86 and 87 as part of a state grant to improve bus service between Natomas and Downtown Sacramento. From Grove and El Camino Avenue, line 86 went west on El Camino to directly serve Natomas; line 87 went through Strawberry Manor and into Natomas via Silver Eagle and San Juan Roads. Both lines met again at Northgate Boulevard and San Juan Road and continued jointly to Downtown Sacramento. Line 86/87 through East Sacramento was discontinued and both lines rerouted in September 1983 to serve Tahoe Park via Broadway and 65th Street. Line 9 also had supplemental service to the DMV Headquarters office on 24th Street during rush hours, with supplemental service operating via 24th Street and 5th Avenue, through the Highland Park/Curtis Park neighborhoods, and meeting with the main line at 5th Avenue and 34th Street.
9 (second use) Carmichael - Walnut Avenue Carmichael Served the Watt/I-80 Station during peak hours. Created on January 7, 2001.[56][57] Discontinued on June 20, 2010.[58]
10 (first use) Roseville Downtown Sacramento, Arden Fair Shopping Center, Auburn Boulevard, American River College, Citrus Heights, Sylvan Corners, Roseville. Line 10 operated Monday through Friday between Downtown Sacramento and Roseville via the Arden Fair Shopping Center, Auburn Boulevard, American River College, Foothill Farms, Sylvan Corners, Citrus Heights, and terminating in Roseville at the corner of Oak Street and Washington Boulevard. Circa 1977, line 10 was extended to serve Douglas Boulevard, Sunrise Avenue, Sunrise Boulevard, Old Auburn Road, Fair Oaks Boulevard, and Greenback Lane, with line service ending at Sunrise Mall. Line 10 service between Roseville and Sunrise Mall ended in June 1981. Line 10 was discontinued in September 1982 and replace by line 93, which operated along line 10's segment from American River College to Roseville.[59]
10 (second use) Carmichael - Dewey Drive Served the Watt/I-80 LRT station during peak hours. Created on January 7, 2001.[60][61] Discontinued on June 20, 2010.[62]
11 (first use) Roseville Express Downtown Sacramento, Roseville Line 11 served as an express route that served Cirby Way, Oak Ridge Drive, Sunrise Avenue, Douglas Boulevard, Riverside Avenue, and Interstate 80 from Roseville to Downtown Sacramento. Line number was changed to line 100 in September 1982.
12 (first use) Roseville Express Downtown Sacramento, Citrus Heights, Roseville Line 12 was an express route that operated between Downtown Sacramento and Central Roseville. From Downtown Sacramento, line 12 served CA-160, I-80, Greenback Lane, Auburn Boulevard, Riverside Avenue, Douglas Boulevard, Harding Boulevard, Sharpe Circle, and Breuner Drive. In September 1982, line 12 was changed to line 103.[63]
12 (second use) Exposition Boulevard Royal Oaks LRT Station. Discontinued on September 4, 2005.[64]
14 (first use) Del Paso Heights - North Highlands Downtown Sacramento, North Sacramento, Del Paso Heights, North Highlands Line 14 operated seven days a week, until 1 a.m. all week long. Line 14 operated between Downtown Sacramento, West El Camino Avenue, El Camino Avenue, Del Paso Boulevard, Marysville Boulevard, Grand Avenue, (then) Interstate 880 between Winters Street and Longview Drive, Roseville Road, Orange Grove Avenue, and Watt Avenue into North Highlands via Don Julio, Larchmont, Elkhorn, Thomas, and Plymouth. Line 14 also operated special supplemental service to serve McClellan Air Force Base. In September 1982, line 14 was restructured to serve Richards Boulevard (north of Downtown Sacramento; formerly served by line 15) and American River College, while service to North Highlands was discontinued, replace by (second use) line 91 (North Highlands, American River College).[65]

16 (first use) Center Parkway-Valley Hi Express Downtown Sacramento, Parkway Estates, Cosumnes River College Line 16 operated as an express route between Downtown Sacramento and Cosumnes River College via Center Parkway. Line 16 stopped along highway 99 at the 12th Avenue, Fruitridge Road, and 47th Avenue off ramps; service to those off-ramps was discontinued on June 5, 1981, due to low service. In September 1982, line 16 was changed to line 58.[67]
16 (second use) Del Paso Heights/Norwood Ave Created on September 3, 2000, as a shuttle line.[68][69] Discontinued on September 2, 2012, due to duplication with other lines.[70]
17 (first use) Greenback Lane Express Orangevale, Fair Oaks, Citrus Heights, Foothill Farms, Downtown Sacramento Line 17 operated as an express bus between Fair Oaks and Downtown Sacramento via Woodmere Oaks Avenue, Central Avenue, Trajan Drive, Greenback Lane, Garfield Avenue, Madison Avenue, Interstate 80, (then) Interstate 880, and Interstate 5 into Downtown Sacramento. In September 1982, line 17 was renumbered to line 108 and the line was restructure, with service along Woodmere Oaks, Central, and Trajan discontinued.[71]
17 (second use) Del Paso Heights/McClellan Created on September 3, 2000, as a shuttle line.[72][73] Discontinued on January 1, 2006.[74]
18 (first use) Rancho Cordova-Fair Oaks Downtown Sacramento, La Rivera, Rancho Cordova, Fair Oaks, Sunrise Mall Line 18 was created in 1973 for new service to the Rancho Cordova and Fair Oaks areas. Line 18 traveled along U.S. 50 to 59th Street (to serve SMUD along S Street), 65th Street, U.S. 50, Hornet Drive (via the CSU Sacramento exit on U.S. 50), College Town, La Rivera, Folsom Boulevard, Coloma Road, Sunrise Boulevard, Fair Oaks Boulevard, Greenback Lane to Sunrise Mall. In September 1982, line 18 was discontinued and split between two new routes at the time. Line 70 operated the former line 18 between Downtown Sacramento and Sunrise Mall with limited stop service via P Street (inbound), Q Street and Alhambra Boulevard (outbound), Stockton Boulevard, U.S. 50, S Street between 59th and 65th Streets, U.S. 50 to Watt Avenue and Folsom Boulevard. At Folsom and Manlove, line 70 resumed local service served by line 18. The La Rivera and Fair Oaks Boulevard portions of line 18 was served by then new line 72, which originated at Carlson Drive and H Streets.[75]
18 (second use) Del Paso Heights/Bell Ave Created on September 3, 2000, as a shuttle line.[76][77] Discontinued on June 20, 2010.[78]
20 (first use) Marconi Avenue Downtown Sacramento, North Sacramento, Arden-Arcade, Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Citrus Heights, Sunrise Mall Line 20 operated between Downtown Sacramento and Sunrise Mall via Del Paso Boulevard, Marconi Avenue, California Avenue, Jan Drive, Winding Way, and Sunset Avenue. In September 1982, line 20 was discontinued and replaced with a restructured line 25.
20 (second use) Cottage Way Downtown Sacramento, Midtown Sacramento, Arden Fair Shopping Center, Arden-Arcade, Country Club After 1986, Arden/Del Paso LRT. Line 20 operated between Downtown Sacramento and Country Club Center via Cottage Way. Line 20 operated limited stops on J Street (outbound) and L Street (inbound) through Downtown Sacramento and Midtown Sacramento. Line 20 operated seven days a week, since it was the quickest line between downtown and Arden Fair. In September 1989, line 20 service was restructured, with the line terminating at the Arden/Del Paso LRT. Service to Midtown and downtown was discontinued and replace by (current) restructured lines 67 and 68. Line 20 was discontinued on June 20, 2010.[79]
21 (first use) Marconi Avenue Express Downtown Sacramento, Arden-Arcade, Carmichael Line 21 was an express line that served Marconi Avenue during peak rush hours. In September 1982, line 82 was renumbered to line 48.
22 (first use) Winding Way-Sunset Avenue Express Downtown Sacramento, Foothill Farms, Carmichael, Fair Oaks Line 22 operated as an express route for the outer portions of line 20 (Marconi), serving Downtown Sacramento, I-5, I-880, I-80, Madison Avenue, Manzanita Avenue, Winding Way, San Juan Avenue, and Sunset Avenue (to Sunrise Boulevard). Line 22 was renumbered line 104 in September 1982.
22 (second use) Arden Country Club Plaza/Country Club Centre, Kaiser Sacramento, Arden Watt Marketplace, Encina High School, Arden Fair Mall, Uptown Sacramento, Arden Way Arden/Del Paso Replace line 29 in September 1982. Line 22 originally operated between Fair Oaks Boulevard and Marconi Avenue and Arden Fair Shopping Center, but was later extended to Downtown Sacramento via the same route structure and limited stop service as line 20. In 1989, line 22 service to Downtown Sacramento was discontinued and restructured to serve the Arden/Del Paso LRT. On September 8, 2019, line 22 became part of an extended line 13 as part of the SacRT Forward initiative.[80]
24 (first use) El Camino Avenue-Orangevale Downtown Sacramento, South Natomas, North Sacramento, Arden-Arcade, Carmichael, Foothill Farms, Citrus Heights, Orangevale Line 24 was aligned with line 23 from Downtown Sacramento to Orangevale. In Orangevale, line 24 operated in a clockwise loop (line 23 operated counter-clockwise). In September 1982, line 24 was restructured from Fair Oaks Boulevard and Manzanita Avenue to end at American River College; service from Fair Oaks and Manzanita to Downtown Sacramento was not changed. The Orangevale portion of line 24 was renumbered line 97. In 1987, line 24 was discontinued.
24 (second use) Madison-Greenback Sunrise Mall, Sunrise Village/Quail Pointe Shopping Center, Bella Vista High School, Madison Marketplace, Cable Park Shopping Center/Walmart, Main & Madison Loop service. Former line 96. Eliminated on September 8, 2019, as part of SacRT Forward (use SmaRT Ride Microtransit).[81]
25 (first use) El Camino Avenue Express Downtown Sacramento, Arden-Arcade, Carmichael Line 25 operated as an express bus service for outer portions of lines 23 and 24 along El Camino Avenue. Line 25 was replaced by lines 46 and 47 in September 1982.[82]
26 (first use) Center Parkway Elk Grove, Cosumnes River College, Valley High School (Sacramento), Parkway Estates (via Center Parkway), Southgate Plaza, Florin Center. Renumbered line 54 in September 1979.
27 (first use) Greenback Lane Express Downtown Sacramento, Foothill Farms, Citrus Heights, Orangevale Line 27 operated along the same route structure as line 17 between Downtown Sacramento and Fair Oaks, but however line 27 continued into Orangevale along Greenback Lane, Hazel Avenue, Pershing Avenue, Madison Avenue to Hazel Avenue. In September 1982, line 27 was renumbered line 107 and line service was restructured, with service discontinued to Hazel Avenue and Pershing Avenue.
27 (second use) American River Drive Express Downtown Sacramento, Campus Commons, Del Dayo, Carmichael After 1987, line 27 terminated at the university/65th Street LRT. In September 1982, line 89 was renumbered line 27, with no changes in line structure. Line 27 originated in Downtown Sacramento and traveled east on U.S. 50, stopping at SMUD first before exiting at Howe Avenue. Line 27 then traveled along Howe Avenue, American River Drive, McCarren Drive, Gary Way, Arden Way, Carmelo Way, Shellfield Drive, Newbury Way, and Claremont Road to Fair Oaks Boulevard.[83] In 1988, line 27 service to Downtown Sacramento was discontinued and the line originated at the university/65th Street LRT. Due to low ridership, service on American River Drive from Watt to Fulton was discontinued by mid 1990's. By September 6, 1998, line 27 had become part of realigned line 76.[84]
28 (first use) La Rivera Express Downtown Sacramento, La Rivera Line 28 operated as an express line for the mid-portion of (then) local line 18. Line 28 operated from Downtown Sacramento to Folsom Boulevard and Bradshaw Road via U.S. 50, stopping at SMUD before exiting at the CSU Sacramento off-ramp, Hornet Road, College Town Drive, La Rivera Drive, Folsom Boulevard to Bradshaw Road. Line 28 was shorten prior to its September 1982 replacement, with service ending at La Rivera Drive and Folsom Boulevard. Line 28 was replaced by line 76 in September 1982.[85]
28 (second use) Fair Oaks-Folsom Sunrise Mall, Fair Oaks Village, Gold River Town Center, Sunriver Village Shopping Center, Zinfandel Square, Rancho Cordova Town Center, Cordova Village, Mills Center Butterfield, Cordova Town Center, Zinfandel, Mather Field/Mills On September 6, 1998, line 28 was realigned on Folsom Blvd. from Butterfield LRT to Cordova Lane, replacing line 78. The portion of Line 28 from Mayhew/Goethe to Rockingham/Mather Field became part of new line 72 and portion from Mather Field/Rockingham to Folsom/Kilgore became part of new line 73. Line 28 was discontinued on September 8, 2019, as part of SacRT Forward, with the section on Folsom west of Mather Field being covered by an extended line 75; the rest of the line can be accessed by getting off of line 21 and walking.[86]
29 Arden-California Dewey & Madison, Del Campo High School, Carmichael Oaks Shopping Center, Arden Watt Marketplace, Arden Fair Mall, Governor's Mansion State Historic Park, Wells Fargo Pavilion, Downtown Commons, Downtown Sacramento (8th & O) 7th & I, 8th & K, St. Rose of Lima Park Created circa 1974 as a local line for Arden Way that operated Monday through Saturday. Operated from Fair Oaks Boulevard and Marconi Avenue to Downtown Sacramento via Arden Way, La Sierra Boulevard, Watt Avenue, Arden Way, Morse Avenue, Cottage Way, Bell Street, Arden Way, Arden Fair, Challenge Way, I-80, 29th Street (inbound), I Street (inbound) to Downtown Sacramento. From downtown, line 29 operated along H Street (outbound) to 30th Street to I-80, and resumed local service to Fair Oaks and Marconi. In September 1982, line 29 local service was assumed by (then) new local line 22, and line 29 became an express line, replacing express line 49.[87] In the late 1990s, line 29's commuter service was extended from Fair Oaks and Marconi to Madison Avenue and Dewey Drive, replacing line 48. On September 8, 2019, as part of SacRT Forward, line 29 was renumbered line 129 because it was a peak only route.[88]
31 J Street - River Park Downtown Sacramento, Midtown Sacramento, East Sacramento, CSUS, River Park Line 31 became an express line in September 1982, but resumed local line status in 1988. In the late 1990s, line 31 became an express line with local service to River Park replaced by line 79 (River Park-La Rivera). Line 31 was discontinued on September 2, 2012.[89]
32 J Street - La Riviera Downtown Sacramento, Midtown Sacramento, East Sacramento, CSUS, La Rivera, College Greens Watt/Manlove LRT. Line 32 operated from Downtown Sacramento to College Greens via J Street, CSUS, La Rivera, and the Watt/Manlove LRT station. Line 32 was created in 1988 as a replacement for parts of (second use) line 71. Line 32 was discontinued on September 6, 1998. New line 79 replaced most of this route and part of line 31; the rest of this route was already part of other lines.[90]
33 (first use) J Street-Rosemont Downtown Sacramento, Midtown Sacramento, East Sacramento, CSUS, College Greens, Rosemont Line 33 operated along J Street from Downtown Sacramento to CSUS before serving the College Greens and Rosemont neighborhoods. Originally, line 33 service ended at Folsom Boulevard and Norcade Circle, but line service was extended further into Rosemont via Starfire, Caldera, Huntsman, Keifer, and Rosemont Drive. Line 33 was eliminated in September 1982 and replaced by portions of rebranded line 71.
34 McKinley CSUS, Sutter Memorial Hospital, Downtown Commons, Downtown (8th & O), 7th & I, 8th & K, St. Rose of Lima Park, Sacramento Valley Line 34 also operated along Folsom Blvd and Capitol Avenue from Downtown Sacramento to University/65th Street until September 1992, and was called 34: Folsom - McKinley. After September 1992, former line 36 took over bus service along the Folsom/Capitol segment. Also, prior to Labor Day Weekend 1982, line 34 was line 1. On September 8, 2019, line 34 was renumbered and renamed line 134 McKinley Commuter as part of SacRT Forward because service was reduced to be peak only.[91]
36 (first use) Elk Grove Express Sacramento, Elk Grove Line 36 operated as an express route between Downtown Sacramento and Elk Grove. In September 1982, line 36 was changed to line 59.[92]
36 (second use) Folsom Boulevard-East Sacramento Downtown Sacramento, Midtown Sacramento, East Sacramento University/65th Street LRT Took over the portion of Line 34 along the Folsom/Capitol segment. Discontinued on June 20, 2010.[93]
37 (first use) City of Folsom Express Downtown Sacramento, Folsom via Greenback Lane Line 37 was an express bus that operated between Downtown Sacramento and the city of Folsom. Line 37 utilized Greenback Lane, Interstate 80, Interstate 880, and Interstate 5 between Sacramento and Folsom. Line 37 was discontinued in circa 1980 because officials in the city of Folsom were unhappy about line 37's line structure, arguing that it would be quicker for line 37 to travel U.S. 50 to Sacramento. Line 37 was replaced by a private bus company.
37 (second use) Tahoe Park-Colonial Village-Southeast Sacramento (a Neighborhood Ride route) Elmhurst, Tahoe Park, Tallac Village, Colonial Village, Avondale, Southeast Sacramento 39th Street LRT Created as a renumbering of the T Street portion of Line 15 on September 28, 2003.[94] Discontinued on January 3, 2010.[95][96][97]

Line 39 operated from Downtown Sacramento to Carmichael via H Street (outbound)/I Street (inbound), (then) I-80 (now Business Loop 80/CA-51), Arden Fair Shopping Center, Arden Way, Watt Avenue, La Sierra Boulevard, Arden Way, and Fair Oaks Boulevard to Marconi Avenue. Line 39 was eliminated in September 1982.[98]

48 (second use) Marconi Avenue Express Downtown Sacramento, Arden-Arcade, Carmichael After 1987, Marconi/Arcade LRT Line 48 replaced line 21 in September 1982. By 1987, line 48 service to Downtown Sacramento was discontinued, with service originating at the Marconi/Arcade LRT. Service was also extended out to Madison Avenue and Dewey Drive. Line 48 was eliminated circa 1998, with the outer portion from Fair Oaks and Marconi to Madison Avenue and Dewey Drive replace by (then) line 29.
49 (first use) Arden-Fair Oaks Express Carmichael, Arden Town, Arden-Arcade, Downtown Sacramento Line 49 consisted of only one inbound trip a day. Line 49 originated in Carmichael, traveled along Fair Oaks Boulevard, Arden Way, Exposition Boulevard, (then)I-80 (now Business Loop 80/CA-51), 29th Street, I Street to Downtown Sacramento. Line 49 was replaced by a rebranded line 29 in September 1982.[100]
49 (second use) Whitney Avenue Express Downtown Sacramento, Arden-Arcade, Carmichael After 1986, Marconi/Arcade LRT Line 49 was rebranded in September 1982 to replace line 92 as the Whitney Avenue express.[101] In 1987, line service was discontinued to Downtown Sacramento and line 49 ended at the Marconi/Arcade LRT station. Line 49 was discontinued in September 1992.
50 Florin Mall Limited Express Downtown Sacramento, Midtown Sacramento, Oak Park, Colonial Heights, South Sacramento, Florin Mall Line 50 was created in 1979 as a limited stop express bus service between Downtown Sacramento and Florin Mall via Stockton Boulevard, P Street (inbound) and Q Street (outbound). Line 50 was created to provide faster service for passengers traveling between Downtown Sacramento and Florin Mall and points south. Line 50 was a replacement for a Sacramento Transit Authority (STA) line that had operated freeway service along CA-99 from Downtown Sacramento to Florin Center years before. In the early 2000s, line 50 became the 50E, with increased frequent service and line service restructure through Downtown Sacramento. Line 50/50E was discontinued on June 20, 2010.[102]
53 (first use) Broadway-21st Avenue Downtown Sacramento, Oak Park, Colonial Heights Line 53 was created in 1973 and operated from Downtown Sacramento to Colonial Heights via 9th Street (outbound)/10th Street (inbound), Broadway, 34th Street, 5th Avenue, Broadway, Stockton Boulevard, San Francisco Boulevard, 55th Street, 21st Avenue, 73rd Street, 25th Avenue, and Bradford Drive, terminating at 21st Avenue and Bradford. Line 53 operated late night until 1 a.m. daily. Line 53 was restructured circa 1980, with service eliminated south of 21st Avenue. In the late 1990s, line 53 was restructured to serve Tahoe Park, with line service eliminated west of 55th Street and new service commencing to the university/65th Street LRT station. Line 53 was ultimately discontinued by 2000 due to low ridership, with service to Colonial Heights provided by an extension of line 15 to the old Army Depot.
53 (second use) Laguna Boulevard-Elk Grove Boulevard Elk Grove, Laguna Creek, Laguna West Prior to Elk Grove's eTran service, Regional Transit established a rebranded line 53, serving Elk Grove and Laguna Creek. Line 53 provided local service along Laguna and Elk Grove Boulevards. Line 53 was ultimately absorbed by eTran.
54 (first use) Glen Elder Express Downtown Sacramento, Midtown Sacramento (afternoons only), Oak Park, Fruitridge area (mornings only), Glen Elder, Florin Mall Line 54 operated as the Glen Elder express line from 1974 to 1977. Line 54 operated between Downtown Sacramento and the Glen Elder neighborhood, but in two different segments. The morning segment had service start at Florin Mall, travel on Stockton Boulevard, Elder Creek, 75th Street, 53rd Avenue, Sun River, Elder Creek, Power Inn, Fruitridge to CA-99 to Downtown Sacramento. The afternoon segment had service operating along Q Street (outbound), Alhambra Boulevard, Stockton Blvd south to Fruitridge Road, where it would follow the morning segment back to Florin Mall. The first use of line 54 was discontinued in September 1977 due to low ridership.
54 (second use) Center Parkway Elk Grove, Cosumnes River College, Valley Hi, Parkway Estates, Florin Mall After 2002: Florin, Cosumnes River College Line 54 was line 26 prior to September 1979. Line 54 operated along the same alignment as line 26 from Elk Grove to Florin Mall. Line 54 has line realignments when line 56 (Elk Grove-Sacramento local) was established in 1992, with line service ending at Cosumnes River College. Line 54 was later extended to the Elk Grove Adult and Community Education campus via Calvine, Power Inn, and Gerber Roads. Line 54 was discontinued on September 8, 2019, as part of SacRT Forward (Alternative service is available on line 56, line 67, and line 81).[103]
55 (first use) Army Depot Downtown Sacramento, Oak Park, Colonial Village, Army Depot Line 55 operated as an express line between the Army Depot and Downtown Sacramento. Line 55 operated outbound during the morning rush hours and inbound during the evening rush hours, with only one trip each way. Line 55 was discontinued in September 1979 and replaced with supplemental service from (current) line 51.
55 (second use) Scottsdale Cosumnes River College, Methodist Hospital of Sacramento, Kaiser South Sacramento, Southpointe Plaza, Vineyard Square/Power Inn Center, Florin Towne Centre On September 8, 2019, line 55 became part of an extended line 68 as part of SacRT Forward, except that line 68 was extended via Florin and Palmer House rather than Florin Mall Drive, Orange Avenue, Chandler Drive, and Lindale Drive; these four streets lost service.[104]
56 (first use) Scottsdale Florin Mall, Scottsdale Line 56 operated from Florin Mall to Scottsdale. Line 56 was discontinued circa 1980 and replaced by (second use) line 55.
57 (first use) Folsom Operated within the city of Folsom. Line 57 was a van service that operated within the city of Folsom. Line 57 was a precursor to RT's Neighborhood Ride routes that would come decades later. Line 57 was discontinued prior to 1980.
57 (second use) Florin Road East - French Road Florin Mall, Florin Went from Florin Mall to French & Danridge. Discontinued in the late 1990s.
58 (first use) Sunrise Mall-DMV Sunrise Mall, Fair Oaks, Rancho Cordova, La Rivera, DMV Headquarters Line 58 operated express bus service between Sunrise Mall and the DMV Headquarters on 24th Street. Line 58 operated one trip in each direction daily. Line 58 operated from Sunrise Mall, Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks Boulevard, Sunrise Boulevard, Coloma Road, Folsom Boulevard, La Rivera Drive, College Town Drive, U.S. 50 (exiting/entering at 26th Street), W Street (inbound)/X Street (outbound), 24th Street to the DMV Headquarters. Line 58 was eliminated in September 1982.[105]
Line 58 (second use) Center Parkway Express Downtown Sacramento, DMV, South Sacramento, Parkway Estates, Valley Hi Line 58 was rebranded to replace line 16 (number change only). Line 58 was discontinued on September 28, 2003.
63 24th Street - Hogan Downtown Sacramento, DMV, Highland Park, Curtis Park, Hollywood Park, Brentwood, Golf Course Terrace, Meadowview Circa 1995 and thereafter: 16th Street LRT. After 2002: Meadowview LRT. Line 63 and 64 operated bus service along 24th Street south of Broadway. Line 63 split off from line 64 at 50th Avenue and 24th Street, serving 50th Avenue, Hogan Drive, 57th Avenue, 21st Street, Meadowview Road, 22nd Street, John Still Drive, before terminating with lines 5 and 7 at 24th Street and Meadowview Road. Circa 1995, line 63 service was changed from the 21st Street/19th Street inbound/outbound couplet to the 16th Street/15th Street couplet, so line 63 would serve the 16th Street LRT station. Around 2000, line 63 was restructured to serve Franklin Boulevard between Sutterville Road and 47th Avenue, and line service was extended to the Meadowview LRT station in 2003. Line 63 was eventually discontinued in June 2010.

64 24th Street - City College Downtown Sacramento, DMV Headquarters, Highland Park, Curtis Park, Hollywood Park, Brentwood, Meadowview, Valley Hi. Circa 1995: 16th Street LRT. After 2002: Meadowview LRT. Line 64 operated along 24th Street with line 63 from Downtown Sacramento to 50th Avenue and 24th Street, where line 64 continued south on 24th Street to end at Sacramento Manor. Line 64 was eventually extended of Sacramento Manor to serve Meadowview Road, Brookfield Drive, Tangerine Avenue, Center Parkway, Mack Road, with service ending at Kaiser Permanente's South Sacramento Medical Center on Wyndham Drive. Like line 63, line service was moved to the 16th/15th Street inbound/outbound couplet to serve the 16th Street LRT station. Line 64 was discontinued on January 6, 2008; service to City College was added on line 63 that day.[107]
65 (first use) Florin Road Express Downtown Sacramento, South Land Park Hills, South Sacramento Line 65 was created circa 1980 as an express route to serve Florin Road. Originating from Downtown Sacramento, line 65 traveled along I-5 to 43rd Avenue, South Land Park Drive, and Florin Road to East Parkway. Line 65 was eliminated in 2003.
65 (second use) Franklin South Laguna Town Hall, Laguna Creek Town Center, South Center/Valley Shopping Center, Southgate Plaza, Luther Burbank High School Florin Line 65 was an express line that operated from Downtown Sacramento to Florin Road (via Interstate 5) from circa 1980 to 2003. Discontinued on September 8, 2019, as part of SacRT Forward; line 61 was realigned to replace the section of line 65 from Fruitridge to Florin Towne Centre, the section of line 65 on Florin from Towne Centre to Franklin is covered by existing line 81, and the section of line 65 from Florin to Mack is covered by a realigned line 67. For the section north of Fruitridge, use line 61 or line 81 and walk. For the section south of Mack, use line 56, line 67, or the Blue line and walk.[108]
66 (first use) Governor's Circle-CYA Downtown Sacramento, South Sacramento, Meadowview Line 66 operated as a commuter line between Downtown Sacramento and state offices located in the South Sacramento area. Line 66 operated along (then) I-80 (current U.S. 50) to CA-99, to Florin Road, East Parkway, Governor's Circle, East Parkway, Florin Road, originally terminating at the California Youth Authority headquarters at Lincolnshire and Williamsborough. Line 66 was eventually extended to the California Office of Emergency Services headquarters via Franklin Boulevard, Brookfield Drive, and Meadowview Road.
66 (second use) Elk Grove Boulevard Express Downtown Sacramento, Laguna West, Laguna Creek, Elk Grove Line 66 was an express line that operated between Downtown Sacramento and Elk Grove via Elk Grove Boulevard and Harbor Point Drive. Line 66 was absorbed by eTran.
70 Rancho Cordova Downtown Sacramento, Midtown Sacramento, Rosemont, Rancho Cordova, Fair Oaks, Citrus Heights, Sunrise Mall After 1987: Watt/Manlove LRT. Line 70 was created to replace the outer segment of line 18 in September 1982. Line 70 operated limited stop express between Downtown Sacramento and Folsom Boulevard and Manlove. Line 70 resumed local line service from Folsom and Manlove to Sunrise Mall. In 1988, line 70 service to Downtown Sacramento was discontinued, with line 70 ending at the Watt/Manlove LRT station. Line 70 was discontinued in 1990 to create the southern leg of line 1 (Beltline).
71 (first use) 44th Street Downtown Sacramento, Midtown Sacramento, Curtis Park, Oak Park, Fruitridge area, Florin Mall Line 71 operated from Downtown Sacramento to Florin Mall via Franklin Boulevard and 44th Street in South Sacramento. Line 71 operated along J Street (outbound)/K Street-28th Street-I Street-15th Street-L Street-3rd Street (inbound), 29th Street (outbound)/30th Street (inbound), T Street (outbound)/U Street (inbound), Alhambra Boulevard, 2nd Avenue, Franklin Boulevard, 12th Avenue, 14th Avenue, 44th Street, 47th Avenue, Steiner Driver, North Parkway, and Sky Parkway to Florin Mall. In September 1982, line 71's route number changed to line 68.[109]
71 (second use) River Park-Rosemont-Lincoln Village Local River Park, CSUS, College Greens, Rosemont, Lincoln Village, Mather AFB Line 71 was rebranded in September 1982 to replace of deleted route and restructured route 80, as well as provide daytime service to River Park (previously done so by line 31). Saturday service for line 71 from the County Branch Center to Mather AFB was provided by line 80.[110]
72 (first use) Franklin Blvd-Sacramento Blvd Downtown Sacramento, Midtown Sacramento, Curtis Park, Oak Park, Southgate, Florin Mall Line 72 operated along the same route alignment as line 71 from Downtown Sacramento to Franklin Boulevard and 12th Avenue. Non-RT routes serving Sacramento[]

Although these routes were once part of RT's lineup, these agencies continue to service Sacramento using the assigned route numbers. The RT system originally excluded service to Sacramento International Airport, which was exclusively served by Yolobus until January 2020 when RT added express service between downtown Sacramento and the airport; Yolobus continues to serve the airport with local service.[183] Service in Elk Grove that was formerly operated by RT is operated by e-tran, which reverted to RT in June 2019.
