This is a list of current first-class cricket teams, organised first by country and then alphabetically. For a clear explanation of first-class status, see first-class cricket. Where a team plays at more than one home ground, only their main ground is listed here.
Afghanistan[]

From February 2017, Afghanistan domestic matches are granted first-class status. This will take effect in the next season of the Ahmad Shah Abdali tournament in September 2017. Afghanistan has six domestic teams that play in first-class and T20 competitions. They do not have a 50 over tournament.

Ireland[]
Ireland's Inter-Provincial Championship received first-class status in October 2016 from the ICC. The first-class status for the matches came into effect with the 2017 Inter-Provincial Championship.[4][5]
