List of poisonous animals
The following is a list of poisonous animals. Poisonous animals, which poison their victims on contact or when they are ingested, are distinct from venomous animals, which inject their toxins into their prey.
The hooded pitohui. The neurotoxin homobatrachotoxin on the birds' skin and feathers causes numbness and tingling on contact.
