Little Hug Fruit Barrels is a brand of fruit flavored drink manufactured by the introduced in 1974.[1] The drink is bottled in plastic 8-ounce shaped bottles and 16-ounce bottles as Big Hug.

In 2015, Royal Wessanen sold American Beverage Corporation to Harvest Hill Beverage, owner of Juicy Juice.[2]

Product History[]

In early May 2013 the company had brought new flavours to little hugs, Wild Berry, Lemon Berry, and Cherry Berry. They also have the Tropical flavours which include Orange, Fruit Punch, Lemonade, Tropical Punch.[4]

Little Hug Rights[]

In March 2015, the American Beverage Corporation sold the rights of the little hug brand to Harvest Hill Beverage corporation for $55 Million. Since the Purchase of the Little Hug and Big Hug rights they have lowered the amount sugar per bottle.[5]

The Barrels[]

Little Hugs was a symbolic drink through the 70s and 80s .[6]

Endorsements[]

Little Hug has an endorsement with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. who is a NASCAR racer. He drives a Ford Fusion in the races.
