Laureen Rebeha Zouaï (zoo-EYE; born 5 March 1995),[citation needed] better known as Lolo Zouaï,[1] is an Algerian French-born American R&B and pop musician. Born to a French mother and an Algerian father in Paris, France; Zouaï moved to San Francisco, California when she was three months old.[2] She released her debut album, High Highs to Low Lows, in 2019.[3][4] The album was given a 7.5 out of 10 rating by Pitchfork.[5] Zouaï was featured as "one to watch" by The Guardian in April 2019.[6] She co-wrote "Still Down" from H.E.R.'s self-titled album, which won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Album.[7] Zouaï will be opening for Dua Lipa's upcoming Future Nostalgia Tour in the winter of 2021.[8][9]
