Longinus (Roman governor)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Longinus, Longus or Lentullus is the partial name of a governor of Roman Britain between 158 and 161.

The only evidence for him is a fragment of an inscription (CIL XVI, 130) which lists a few letters of the name and is open to interpretation.
