Lophis (river)

Lophis (Ancient Greek: Λοφίς)^[1] was a small stream of ancient Boeotia, near Haliartus, apparently the same as the Hopelites (Ὁπλίτης) of Plutarch,^[2] where Lysander fell in the Battle of Haliartus.
