The Los Angeles Air Defense Region was a United States Army Air Forces unit. It was assigned throughout its service to the Fourth Air Force and its subcomponents, stationed in California. It was disbanded on 31 August 1945.

It provided air defense for the Los Angeles area. Also trained fighter groups and personnel. It was stationed at Los Angeles Airport, California, 20 August 1942, and then moved to San Francisco, California, from 7 June 1944- 31 August 1945.
