Los Tres is an original album, the first by Chilean rock band Los Tres, recorded and first released in 1991. The CD album includes 10 unpublished songs composed mainly by . The cover is an old painting "Actrices" by artist , 1960. The album contains three of the group's main songs, "Un Amor Violento", "He Barrido el Sol" and "La Primera Vez" that, among others, helped the group from Concepción to stablish themselves as one of the most important bands in the 90s Chilean rock scene.

Background[]

Los Tres settled themselves in Santiago (the capital of Chile) in 1987. A year later, guitar-virtuoso Ángel Parra would join the band thanks to his sister Javiera, who at the time was in a romantic relationship with Álvaro Henríquez, finally settling the definitive line-up as a four-man group.
