Lot was an Egyptian Christian monk who lived around the 4th and 5th centuries in Egypt. He was one of the Desert Fathers.[1]
Biography[]
Lot was a disciple of Joseph of Panephysis and a companion of Arsenius the Great. He was an ascetic who lived in Arsinoe, near Anthony the Great.[1]
Lot opposed the Origenists.[1]
