Louis Le Hunsec, C.S.Sp. (6 January 1878 – 25 December 1954) was a French missionary Bishop who from 1926 to 1950, he served as Superior General of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit.

Louis Le Hunsec was born in Ploemeur, Brittany, France, the son of Louis Pierre Le Hunsec et his wife Marie-Thérèse Le Gouhir, who were bakers. He joined the Congregation of the Holy Spirit and was ordained a priest on 21 September 1901.

On 22 April 1920 he was appointed Bishop of Europus) in partibus infidelibus and Vicar Apostolic of Senegambia.

His ordination as a bishop took place on 30 May 1920 at the hands of Bishop Alexandre-Louis-Victor-Aimé Le Roy, Bishop of Alinda in partibus infidelibus and at the time Superior General of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit, assisted by Bishop , Bishop of Selge in partibus infidelibus and Vicar Apostolic of French Guinea (who had himself been ordained bishop only days earlier, on 25 May 1920), and by Father , Prefect Apostolic of Upper Cimbebasia. At this period this practice of an assistant consecrator who was a priest, not a bishop, was still current in cases of necessity.

On 26 June that same year, 1920, Bishop Le Hunsec was appointed additionally Prefect Apostolic of Senegal, a position he held until his death, though on 27 January 1936 the territory was renamed the Apostolic Prefecture of Saint-Louis du Sénégal.

On 26 July 1926, he was appointed superior general of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit in succession to Bishop Alexandre-Louis-Victor-Aimé Le Roy, the Bishop who had ordained him, and on that day he resigned the post of Vicar Apostolic of Senegambia. As he approached 25 years of episcopate, on 24 February 1945 he was appointed Archbishop of Marcianopolis in partibus infidelibus. He was to resign as superior general on 26 July 1950 and he died four years later at the age of 76.
