Love Is All We Have to Give is the second album by Checkmates, Ltd. and was released in 1969. It reached #178 on the Billboard Top LPs chart.[3]

The album featured four singles: "Black Pearl", which reached #8 on the R&B chart and #13 on the Billboard Hot 100,[4] "Proud Mary", which reached #69 on the Billboard Hot 100,[5] and "Love Is All I Have to Give" which reached #65 on the Billboard Hot 100, and "I Keep Forgettin'", which did not chart on the pop chart.
