Luis Ángel Medina (born May 3, 1999) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the New York Yankees organization.

Career[]

Medina signed with the New York Yankees as an international free agent in July 2015.[1] He made his professional debut in 2016 with the Dominican Summer League Yankees. In 2017 he pitched for the Dominican Summer League Yankees and Pulaski Yankees.[2] In 2018, he pitched for Pulaski.[3]

Medina started 2019 with the Charleston RiverDogs and was promoted to the Tampa Yankees during the season.[4]

In 2020, he did not play a game because of the cancellation of the MiLB season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In June 2021, Medina was selected to play in the All-Star Futures Game.[5]
