Lusíada University

The Lusíada University (Universidade Lusíada, Portuguese pronunciation: [univɨɾsiˈðad(ɨ) luˈzi.ɐðɐ]) is a Portuguese private university headquartered in Lisbon. The university's motto is sol lucet omnibus ("The sun shines over everyone").

History[]

The Universidade Lusíada was founded in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1986. It later opened branches in the Portuguese cities of Porto and Vila Nova de Famalicão, and abroad in Angola.

The university has branches abroad in Angola at Luanda, Benguela, and Cabinda. It is one of seven recognized universities, both private and public, in Angola.[1]
