Lyticum is a genus in the phylum Proteobacteria (Bacteria).[1]
Etymology[]
The name Lyticum derives from:
New Latin lyticus (from Greek lutikos, λυτικός), able to loosen, able to dissolve; to give Lyticum, dissolver.[2]
