MTA4 Africa (formerly known as MTA Africa 1) is the fourth satellite-based television channel of the MTA International network. It was launched in early August 2016,[1] broadcasting specifically for the African viewers, throughout Africa and Europe. The channel was established under the auspices of Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the spiritual head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.[2] The programmes covers a wide range of religious matters, particularly those concerning Islam and presents the Ahmadiyya stance to certain issues. MTA Africa is run and voluntarily funded by Ahmadis.

The inauguration of MTA Africa 1 was broadcast live on all Muslim Television Ahmadiyya International channels also known as MTA International with Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Caliph of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community launching the actual channel.[3]
