The entire Digital India plan, which includes the smart cities in its agenda, is propelling the LTE tech to take-off in the country. It designs chipsets end-to-end, for handheld segments and has the IP for designing for the macro cell base stations for LTE. Its products are being licensed by US companies for LTE-based IoT-M2M chipsets, with customers ranging from avionics group for LTE in-flight internet modems to LTE-based satellite modems - apart from LTE-based, military-specific products.[citation needed]
