Madagascar: A Little Wild is an American computer-animated comedy streaming television series produced by DreamWorks Animation Television. It is the third TV series in the Madagascar franchise and the second prequel to the 2005 film.
The series, which is a prequel to the first film, features Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo, and Melman the Giraffe residing in a rescue habitat at the Central Park Zoo as children.
The series was released to Hulu and Peacock on September 7, 2020.[3] A Halloween special was released on October 21, 2020. The second season was released on December 11, 2020. The third season was released on May 27, 2021.[4][5] The third season has an episode that takes place in a Pride parade and has a non-binary character named Odee the Okapi who uses they/them pronouns.[6] A fourth season, with an expected 6 episodes, was released on August 6, 2021.

Broadcast[]
Outside of the United States, it aired on Family Jr. in Canada on January 9, 2021. The series will air on DreamWorks Channel Asia as part of the DW Jr. block in 2021.
