Magnesium oil

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Magnesium oil (also referred to as transdermal magnesium)[1] is a mixture of magnesium chloride in water. In reality, it is not a "true" oil, as it is not composed of one or more hydrocarbons. It can be applied to the skin.[2] The magnesium is absorbed through the skin and is claimed to have health benefits, such as for the treatment of magnesium deficiency, to relieve muscle pains and aches (especially headaches), and to enhance relaxation.[2] It can also be bought as a spray.
