Maha Gaber Abouelenein is an Egyptian American communications consultant specializing in strategic communications, public diplomacy and campaign management.[1] She also is the head of communications and spokeswoman for Google in Middle East and North Africa.[2][3] Maha also is the co-chair of the corporate governance committee of the US Chamber of Commerce in Egypt.[1]

Life[]

She grew up in the United States, in a small town in Minnesota where she studied communications there all the way to her master's degree, she came back to Egypt in 1997, started working for Sawiris then years later she established Promoseven WeberShandwick in MENA before leaving to start her business; Organizational Consultants.[4] With more than 20 years experience in corporate communications, PR strategy and campaign management, Maha drives the Google communications apparatus for 18 countries. Maha holds a master's degree in communications from Minnesota State University - Mankato and an undergraduate degree in international business and marketing with a minor in French.[5]

Maha Joined Google after the Egyptian revolution of 2011.[4]
