Mahdi Aliyu Mohammed Gusau is the current deputy governor of Zamfara State. He is one of the youngest deputy governors to be elected at his age since Fourth Nigerian Republic. He is a son to General Aliyu Mohammed Gusau who is the former Minister of Defence.[1][2][3]
