Mahek Chahal (born 1 February 1979) is a Norwegian actress and model who appears in Bollywood films. Chahal was a contestant on Bigg Boss 5. She also participated in the stunt-based reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11.

Early life and carrer[]

Mahek was born in Sikh middle class family . Her real name is raspreet Kaur Chahal . She did education in Norwegian medium school ,Norway And did acting in Kishore Namit's acting school ,Bombay

Acting career ( 2002-2010)[]

Mahek made her film debut in 2002 romantice film Neetho. And next made her hindi debut in 2003 comedy film Nayee Padosan.

She also did item number in the film Chameli(2004).Chahal next performed in a Punjabi movie Dil Apna Punjabi and had supporting roles in the films Wanted and Main Aurr Mrs Khanna(2009).She did item number in the films Chhodon Naa Yaar . And 2009 film Jai Veeru. Chahal next apperead in the film Marega Salaa. She again did item number in the film Kedi (2010 film).

Television debut[]

Mahek made her television debut in C.I.D. in 2009. She was a contestant in reality show Bigg Boss in its 5th season (2011) and became a runner-up. Chahal also featured in Norwegian reality show Fristet (2011).

2011-2015[]

Mahek then did an item number in the film Yamla Pagla Deewana(2011). She made her bengali debut by doing item number in the film Bikram Singha: The Lion Is Back.She also starred in Karar: The Deal(2014).Chahal launched her clothing line Mahek Chahal clothing in Norway .She then appererad in Bigg Boss Halla Bol in 2015. Chahal also appeared in Power couple along with Ashmit Patel .She then did item number in Tamil film Gethu.

2016-present[]

She appeared in comedy shows like Comedy Nights Bachao . She then appererad in thrilled TV show Kavach in 2018 and then appererad in Nirdosh in (2018). Chahal was a contestant in stunt based reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi in its 11 th season which is film in Cape Town , South Africa and eliminated in the 5th week and finished as 11th place.
